About this explorer

This page uses the public Indica API to find conversations in the Rig Veda. Indica is a curated reference dataset and API created by Anindita Basu. Its underlying data has been manually compiled, curated, normalised, and structured over several years from primary Sanskrit texts, translations, and secondary scholarly materials. This dataset reflects interpretive editorial decisions in classification, naming, and structuring.

The English and Sanskrit links take you to external sources. The links are constructed from the mandal and sukta information returned by the Indica API. This page does not scrape, copy, or reproduce the text from those websites.
